Muchenje is situated within ‘The last Eden of Chobe’, offering incredible safari experiences for both discerning clientele and new comers to the bush, alike. Situated on the western side of Chobe National Park, Muchenje is the only lodge in this area and offers unique and prolific game experiences. Famous for its elephant and buffalo herds, Chobe is also home to numerous lions, as well as a great diversity of plains game and bird species.
The lodge is on an escarpment overlooking the banks of the Chobe River and has unparalleled views across the flood plain.

Accommodation:
Each of the eleven en-suite rooms is exquisitely furnished and has a wonderful African ambience. The elegant main lodge incorporates a dining area, a bar and a viewing platform, whilst the lodge’s swimming pool offers fantastic views across the flood plain, providing a tranquil setting for guests to relax during the day.
Activities:
Game drives are the key activity; a true safari experience in an open 4×4 with professional guides, available early morning and afternoon, or all day. Game viewing can also be by boat on the Chobe River, on foot during bush walks, or by night on spot lit drives after dinner. Cultural visits to the local villages are also available including a trip to Mabele Primary School, the original Pack for a Purpose.
