Motswiri is a small and intimate camp, stylishly rebuilt in 2010. It’s operated largely by solar power, and offers comfortable accommodation.
Built on raised wooden decks, lining the spillway, five tents are well spaced apart, providing privacy and a real close to nature experience. Each has its own self-contained shower, toilet and large decked veranda, and can be configured for double bed or twin accommodation. They also have a specially designed family tent and a honeymoon tent with outdoor bucket shower.
The central mess area boasts a large, tastefully furnished, sitting area, with open dining, all boasting wonderful views of the spillway and the wildlife that is attracted to it to drink.
Further to this, there is also a discreet sunbathing area with its own plunge pool and sun loungers.

The reserve provides a superb terrain for riding, with a mix of open flood plain, dry savannah and riverine bush.
RAW has twenty four horses, ranging from Thoroughbreds to Boerperds, Arabs and Kalahari crosses, large to small. All are immaculately looked after and are acclimatised to the area and to the game that guests will encounter.
